The Rice Lake RL32018 5,000 lb load cell is a high-precision, industrial-grade single-ended beam load cell designed to handle medium to heavy weighing applications with exceptional accuracy and durability. Built from nickel-plated alloy steel and sealed to an IP66 environmental rating, this load cell performs reliably in harsh conditions, including washdown and dusty environments.
 
With a full scale output of 3.0 mV/V ±0.05%, the 5,000 lb RL32018 delivers stable signal response for consistent weight measurement. It supports a recommended excitation of 10 VDC (15 V max), features 400 ohm input resistance, and 350 ohm output resistance. The load cell is designed for use across a compensated temperature range of –14 °F to 104 °F, with an operating range up to 150 °F.
 
Certified for trade use under NTEP CC 18-106 and FM-approved, the RL32018 offers combined error of only ±0.017% full scale, making it ideal for legal-for-trade scales and regulated environments. It tolerates 150% safe overload and 100% safe sideload, ensuring long-term stability even under mechanical stress. Each unit includes a 20-foot integral cable and uses a standard 4-wire color-coded configuration for quick integration.
